Joey took a deep inhale, and then exhaled as she looked up at the tower. “Well, here goes something.” Her eyes lowered to the entrance to the tower and started to walk inside. It was very quiet inside the tower. Joey’s footsteps echoed loudly with each step she took. Her eyes glanced around the circular structure. The only thing inside seemed to be a winding staircase that was spiraling around the walls as it led to the top. A groan escaped Joey as she followed the long stairway that stretched out before her. “Why couldn’t the gods have elevators in this realm?” she sighed and rubbed her furry brow. “Is my real final challenge making it to the top without passing out from exhaustion?” Her eyes slowly drifted to the base of the stairs. One last sigh escaped her as she was starting to dread climbing up. “No point turning back. Let’s get this over with.” She walked over and placed one of her hands on the metal railing. A shudder escaped her as she held onto the cold

“WHAT!?” Joey cried and fell backwards out of shock upon hearing Amatarusu’s words. She laid there for a brief moment as she took in what Ammy said. “My mom is...your...son? But but...how!?” She pushed herself back up and stared at the ghostly goddess. Ammy simply explained. “Okay, I suppose that makes some sense.” Joey sighed and reached up to rub her furry head as she processed more of the story. “So then why am i female and starting to look like...well you?” He asked and gestured to her. She stopped as she noticed that Joey was looking at her and raised one of her furry brows in confusion.

A cold wind blew across the partially covered form of Joey as she laid in the snow. Her form slowly shook as her eyes were starting to open. “Am I dead yet?” She said flatly as a small bit of cold and pain spread throughout her body. “Nope, still alive. Well, mostly.” she sighed and tried to push herself up, causing the snow to fall off her body. “Where the heck am I now?” She sighed and wobbled a bit as she stood back up on her legs. Joey went and started to brush the remaining snow off her body. “Never thought I would be glad to have fur. Being stuck without a natural fur coat would have been a problem.” She sighed once more and then started to look around. A barren, snowy wasteland greeted Joey. Once again dark clouds overhead blocked the sun and darkened the area. Several small gusts of wind blew right through her, causing a small chill to the fluffy adventurer. Joey wrapped her arms around her body as she gave a quick shiver. “Yeash, better get out of here before I become a

“VICTORY!” The game announcer declared as the freeze frame broke and The Gran character fell to the ground in defeat. Kayla smiled as she racked in another victory with Ladiva. She pulled her hands off her new arcade stick and rested them behind her head as the victory animation played. “Wow sis, that new arcade stick is impressive, I need to get me one of those now,” her friend’s voice spoke through her headset. “Anyway, that’s in for me; I need to sign off. Catch you around.” “Later.” She disconnected from the discord voice chat and sighed. “Whew, his Gran game keeps improving. Even with this stick I need to up my game,” she chuckled and navigated back to the main menu. Her eyes quickly glanced to her phone. “I got some time, might as well do some practice matches.” Kayla navigated her way back to the main menu. Right before she was about to hit practice mode, a “NEW” icon caught the corner of her eye. “What have we here?” she asked while her eyes moved over to see what it was.

“You do? How? Did he try to attack the mortal realm?” Ko-Gekigami asked quite curiously.
“Well, um. This might sound odd but I have memories of old Ammy. Also, I think she spoke to me.” Joey sighed.
“Wait, she spoke to you!?” Ko-Gekigami gasped. “What did she say!? Did she say anything about why she went missing!?” He asked and quickly was staring Joey down for an answer.
“She was telling me to accept my destiny. It was back when I was dealing with Kabegami. She told me that the only way I could access my powers was to accept my destiny.” Joey looked down at his fu

Joey groaned as he slowly started to stir awake. “Ug...stupid cat.” He carefully pushed himself up and gave his eyes a small rub. “I’ll transport you to his realm.” He said sarcastically. A snort came out as he pulled his hand away from his eyes and tried to focus on the area around him.
The area around Joey was jagged, rocky, and gray. He quickly looked up and saw an endless sea of gray clouds looming above him. A rumble of thunder would erupt and force joey to quickly cover his ears.
“HOLY!” Joey cried as he held his head; eyes wide in fear as a small bit of pain erupted in his head f

“Thanks, I guess.” he huffed a bit and took a few deep inhales. Joey closed his eyes and tried to concentrate a bit. He was still a bit on edge, unsure that the cat would keep up her decree and not pelt him with something as he tried to compose himself.
“Alright Joey, you can do this…” He muttered to himself. Joey slowly started to remember the small vision he had where the whole world turned sepia tone for a brief moment.
<Accept.> A female voice suddenly said in his mind. A small gasp escaped Joey as he looked around a bit confused. “Who...said that?” He looked around. He saw K
